  i watched this years back but my memory of it is as good as yesterday. this is very good drama despite their low rating. honestly, i watched this drama just because of heechul but surprisingly i love the drama!the plot is nice, the actors and actress play out their character very very well. it’s a funny drama and it’s funny how they twist the plot about a gangster suddenly become a good man. this is a must watch drama!

  this was a cute, fun drama. if you don’t take it seriously, you can enjoy it. not much to the plot… pretty predictable for the most part. just a feel good drama with a smattering of social/family values commentary thrown in. nothing spectacular or unique here… just light and fun. the best part was Kim Myung Min — oh man, what a terrific performance and the best of the bunch. he’s never out of character and gets the tough, loyal gangster routine to the T. Stunning performance by him!

  It’s the funniest drama I ever watched!!! I surprised myself laughing out loud watching it, thanks to the kind of characters chosen by the writter, and the twists and turns of their story. Amazing!

  Although Bad Family aired almost half a decade ago, it’s still to this day my favorite comedic drama of all time. This drama hosted one of the best ensemble casts, had a different but appealing chemistry between Kim Myung Min and Nam Sang Mi who have had one of the most refreshing and adorable romances in any k-drama, and the plot was executed well. I loved every single moment of Bad Family, and the lessons that this drama teaches about family are relevant and applicable to those of us who didn’t previously consider it a high priority.

  I only watched the first episode but the first episode was fantastic. The plot is epic and now I have the subs I just have to find the videos. ^^

  I started watching this for it was praised on dramabeans and guess what I’ve discovered? It’s surprisingly heartwarming and very funny. Granted, sometimes I had to cover my eyes in second-hand embarassment, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing. It means I cared very much for the characters.

  What I really liked is that it’s a drama about a family, albeit a very unconvetional one and all of it starts with a bunch of strangers thrown together to do a job and who, eventually, slowly and against their better judgement start to care for one another. Blood is thick, true, but sometimes it’s not all, this is what the drama seems to say and it says that in such a touching way you cannot ignore it.

  As for the acting, well, there are veterans who you probably know and they don’t disappoint. Kim Myung Min is, of course, amazing, but no big surprise there. I had no idea Heechul was a SuJu boy when I watched the drama back then and he was quite the surprise.

  If you’re looking for a typical romcom, then maybe this is not for you, but if you want a comedy about love, which is not necessarely between 2 people, then again, maybe it is. Highly recced

  No reviews on this? Oh noes~ How is that possible!?
  This was my introduction to Kim Hee chul’s acting I believe. I found out he’s a great actor! Very fun and bubbly to behold!
  This drama was sooooooo cute…I have an urge to rewatch it! It had a good plot…not your average drama of two guys- two girls in a love square. It centers on family (with a little love on the side). Very sweet drama…would be good to cuddle up with your family and watch it together!
