I love this drama up to episode 14 (agree with evil4ever). My overall rating will be 7/10.
As for episodes wise – 1 – 14: 8/10 and 15-17: 5/10.
Since the last few episodes have “crappy/jumpy/cramp” editing, hence the story in the last 3 episodes are totally confusing.
I am okay with the sad ending. In fact since I decided to watch this, I have prepared for a sad ending. However, I am not prepared for a MESSY ending.
While I understood that the “problem” of Kim Nam Gil enlistment, I think the production should be able to make “better” flow.
Well tho’ I don’t like the last few bumpy episodes, I WATCHED THIS DRAMA MORE THAN ONCE!

Not only because I love the cast (except Ha Ga In acting – oh dear!), the repeats are also due to difficulty of my “dumb” brain to digest the last 3 episodes
loved this drama…although the last couple of eps were disapointing….the editing, camera work, ost was fantastic…excellently made drama but hiccups at the end, probs becos they had to cut it down cos of KNG army enlistment
This is my first time writing something on drama I had watched. I have been a Korean drama addicts for five years now, where I can watch Korean shows + dramas without subtitles.
Bad Guy humm where do you want me to start? I watched this drama out of boredom where my sister kept of praising kim Nam Gil after his performance on Queen Seon Duk , well I did not finish the later therefore I am not SO big fan of Kim Nam Gil. However, I watched his previous work such as his movie No Regret where he was excellent and Lovers where he caught me eyes as handsome gangster. Enough of being of the topic let me discuss my opinion on the drama:
What the drama or where is the story line? Who are the main characters? Where do I have to focus? So everything is plan? Who is the bad guy? I was confused. Nothing was clear.. however there was something that made me continue watching the drama.. the acting skills of the three main characters: Kim Nam Gil as Shim Gun Wook and Kim Jae Wook as Hong Tae Sung and Oh Yun Soo as Hong Tae Ra. I completely fall in love with Kim Jae Wook acting skills the way he illustrated his anger, longing, affection , depression, and loveless character just in one look and his body movement. On the other hand, this is my first time watching Oh Yun Soo work (what I was doing?! Kill me!) She was outstanding and mind-blowing. Every single scene she acted was perfect! I like he character and the way she talk using her eyes, hand, and simple words with deep hidden meaning. The character development was shown clearly in her character more than the main character Kim Nam Gil.
I liked only the first 14 eps of the drama and I recommend to watch only these eps. Why? These eps were rich with: action, suspense, thrill, mystery, love, betrayal, conflict, misleads and kindness. Due to some conflicts and issues regarding Kim Nam Gil enlist to the army the drama cut three eps and as a result ending was a mess! There were several issues and problems came the filming crew faced but I am happy they finished the drama, BUT do they have to end it like THAT! worst ending ever! The beginning was epic from the music, filming location, serial of events, acting, dialogues, apart from editing where it was mmm not so good. The editing team was not so good where they cut in clear way that made me blink several times and they repeated some of the scenes minutes apart from each other! WHY! However, They were in chaos so, I will not be hard on them, well done… >_>â€
Overall, I will give this drama Just the first 14 eps 9.5/10 and the last three eps 3.5/10 NO No No 2/10. Anyone who wants to watch this drama go a head but make ur own ending DO NOT WATCH the last three Eps 15 + 16 + 17 OKAY!
So I finished the drama and honestly the ending was confusing. There were many parts where I went “what just happened?” or just simply “whaaat?” This probably because that episodes were cut down since one of the actor had to enlist in the army. It’s a good drama but the ending was a disappointment.
This is fantastic I find myself watching an episode and getting so sucked in that when the episode is over I am wondering where my hour went. I cant wait for the subs

In watching Bad Guy drama through episode 9 I can say I love it.
It has a little bit of everything to make it a great drama for watching.
I can hardly wait to see the next episodes.
