One of my favourite drama because the heroine is super awesome! I mean in most kdramas the heroine will be someone weak, innocent and an never stand for themselves. It’s the other way around in this drama. Han Ye Seul portrayed a strong character, arrogant and all but that was what made her superior.
The storyline is good but I have to agree that their love didn’t really shine. And this drama is damn funny too. Really worth watching!
I’m gonna use a metaphor here…think of this drama as a pinkie of Hong Sister’s Dramas (‘cuz they have 5 series so far, get it?……no?)
Okay, what I mean is the trait of Hong Sister’s writing style in this drama was weak, don’t get me wrong the plot was absolutely interesting, it was also funny (too LOL funny for me), but for a romantic comedy it was too draggy and more importantly the love didn’t shine thru. Let forget about the acting skill, after all, Han Ye Seul and Oh Ji Ho have their first leading roles in this series so I only comment on the script here. Their love was so force, not passionate enough, and so unmemorable.
Do I recommend this drama? YES. I recommend all the Hong Sister’s dramas. So why am I being so long whine here talking about this? Because I was disappointed, I was expect a more energetic love, more passion but it was like a balloon inflated. She loves him because he was a floating device for her to hold on when she lost her memory. He loves her because he was sympathy her. It needs a crucial moment when they realize these may be the reasons to initiate the feeling but it can’t be the a foundation for their love.
Anyway, I may be splitting hair here so… to sum up: nice series, entertaining and funny.
This is a fantastic Hong Sisters drama! There are a lot of cute moments and a lot of laugh out loud moments. Overall, this drama satisfied the hopeless romantic in me even though there were some parts that tended to be a little draggy. This drama is based on the American movie “Overboard.” It is about an ill tempered heiress who losses her memory. Chul Soo takes her home and pretends that they are in a romantic relationship so that she can work for him and take care of his nephews. Find out what happens as they fall in love. This is a hilarious and heartwarming drama.
