Have you ever found a more annoying heroine? Yes, probably, that was just hyperbole. Still, I contend that there was almost nothing to like about the the character Oh Soo Jung. She is as fake and narcissistic as you would expect a former beauty queen to be. (And yes, I’m generalizing, but they started it.)

Sadly, my dislike of her transfer onto our hero, Go Man Soo. Honestly, you would think that he did nothing to deserve it when he was the victim of her whimsical demands, but for the very fact that he can’t seem to let go of her makes me dislike him alongside with her. Is there ever a world in which “She doesn’t deserve your loyalty and affections” more warranted?

True, she changes. It’s drama world, after all. But not enough, not so grand, and not so appealing. Meaning, I did find her less painful to watch, but it didn’t make me like her any better. But that is a moot point, because at that point, I’ve already release her characters of any more rights to annoy me. From there on out, I was tethering on the edge of whether to forgive our hero for being a lovesick fool or not. I mean, I wanted to like him. I really did try.

Get Karl, Oh Soo Jung is a drama that doesn’t really get far enough away the initial impression. Your first impression of the characters persist far too long that the little changes doesn’t really change your opinions of the characters. I give it a 3.

This is the sort of drama that you watch it, forget it, don’t like it but you don’t remember anything to dislike either. Maybe I do remember Uhm Jung Hwa’s overly make-up face.
