I was in love with this series for a long time. I love Kim Jae Won and Han Ji Min, so watching this series was a plus for me just because of the actors. I was really fond of the soundtrack as well.
Great Inheritance wasn’t an epic drama or anything. It was just plain cute, entertaining, and dramatic. I think I enjoyed it a lot because the love square wasn’t annoying like most love squares are. The main leads fell in love with each other without being confused but they did endure a lot of hardships such as fist fights, abandonment, and death. The children were also adorable! They really brought some comedy in the series.
The character development in the series wasn’t so bad either. From a gangster to a kindergarten teacher, Hyun Se really grew into a good guy. Mi Rae was the girl who tried too hard to be happy although she was sad, but after meeting Hyun Se, she grew to express every feeling she had.
This was a well paced drama. Don’t watch it with lots of expectations because it is a simple love story done Korean style.
