It’s hard to believe that it has been 3 years.. It seemed like just yesterday when some of us kdrama addicts got together to form this wonderful team. Now, 3 years later.. with over 80 completed projects and many many more wonderful members.. we can finally launch this wonderful site to celebrate our 3rd anniversary.
As the admin/ coordinator of WITH S2.. I would like to take this chance to express my deepest gratitude to my very loving WITH S2 family & all of our supporters. Please bear with me as this can get a little long & emotional.. hehe.. totally k-drama style!!
I want to start out to say how much I adore my WITH S2 family.. that’s pretty much an open secret.. I’m so blessed to be associated with so many kind & generous and hardworking people. They are truly are my source of inspirations. I feel a very deep and special connection to this WITH S2 family .
Not only these wonderful souls share my interest & passion.. they also share my biggest goal- working together to bring fabulous english subs to the non-Korean speakers.
Through this journey, we’ve been through so much together.. and yes.. although there are numerous times when things get difficult & stressful.. I am always confident that I can get through those obstacles and continue to devote hours and hours into this “non-profit” work because I know that our loving family will always be there for me and that together, we can make a difference in spreading the Korean culture.
Fansubbing is strictly volunteer work.. and our members are very diverse - age & occupation-wise. We have young students, working professionals, housewives, retired people- you name it.. Our active members tend to devote at least 2-3 hours/ day for fansubbing/ other tasks. That’s alot of time to ask and we are so so grateful for all our members’ efforts.
Personally speaking, managing WITH S2 is not an easy task, but it is definitely very fulfilling. Sometimes the amount of stress I have to deal with is crazy! With such a huge family, there are bound to be conflicts & disagreements since we are all very strong individuals. Top that off with outside stress.. ranging from people stealing our subs, nagging us to speed up the subbing, or critizing our work and bashing our members- and there you have it.. one chaotic mess!!
Personally speaking, looking back.. I wished that I can change many things that happened.. or handle things better.. and for that, I am extremely grateful to my dear family, for always being so supportive of me.. despite all my shortcomings.
I’m so happy to be able to explore such a wonderful culture – through the generosity of all our hardworking staffs. I’m so proud of our family and what we have accomplished in the past 3 years. You guys helped create this miracle ( 80 completed projects and counting) – and I couldn’t be more proud.

To my fellow admins… thank you so much for taking the first step to build us this loving home. To my Coordinators.. thank you for always being supportive of me and sharing my troubles & difficulties. Without your supports & aid, I don’t think I can hang in there.. thanks for listening to all my rants and inspired me to work harder & stay strong for the sake of the team. You guys are my angels and I hope everyone will come to realize & appreciate all the behind-the-scenes work & efforts that you guys put in!!
To our dearest translators & timers & editors- Thank you for being so kind & sweet. I feel for you guys the most since you guys have to constantly put up with my naggings & bombardment of pms and reminders. Please know that I adore you guys to death and once again.. thank you for everything you’ve done for me & WITH S2
Last but not least, to our supporters.. thank you for appreciating our work & efforts.. To be honest, managing WITH S2 is a second full time job for me and as our members devoted so much time into these projects.. your love & support is what keep us strong & motivated for the past 3 years. We hope to be able to continue to grow and serve the community in this fashion for a long time to come.

Your work has been of great importance to me (many) and will be even more when I manage to see more! Without your effort things would be quite different, and for the worse. I can see this has been tough for you guys, but making it possible for non Korean speakers to enjoy the best dramas is a great deed. Anything to make you independent other lousy dramas is worth Nobel’s price I’d say
I’m thankful that there’s team like you guys spending enless hours to provide subs to non-Korean people like myself. If it wasn’t for people like you, I would never learn so much about Korean cultures, wonderful dramas, and idolize many talented and beautiful actors and actresses. I’m spreading Korean dramas to my family and my friends. We share, enjoy, and appreciate so many great dramas. Thanks so much.
