I went thru half the episodes before i threw in the towel. It was fun but not compelling. The constant yelling got to be a little obnoxious. Not much of a story and the chemistry between the lead characters never really materialized. And i got tired of the old ‘yey chef’ routine! And there were blaring, unforgivable editorial omissions where a scene pops up without any context!

Overall a non-compelling, forgettable series for me.

It did made me think of another culinary serious and that I went back and watched and found much more compelling. I would recommend “Kim Sam Soon” (aka, My Lovely Sam-Soon) for a compelling drama, heartfelt relationships, terrific acting (esp. by Jung Ryu Won as Yoo Hee-jin), good humor and touching frailty and endurance of the human character. This was back when there was more meat in Kdramas, before the assembly line production that Pasta seems to have come from.

The plot was not very compelling and the supporting cast lacks in depth and personality. Despite these flaws I LOVED Pasta. Purely for the chemistry from the two leads. I could watch these two for a hundred episodes they are so adorable together. It’s a light and fun feel-good drama where the romance will give you the warm and fuzzies all over.

A slightly slow but feel-good drama. Sometimes it’s a bit predictable and repetitive, and some of the characters can be extremely irritating (but hey it’s kdrama). Nonetheless, it keeps to the food theme well and there’s also a good mix of comedy, which is also entertaining! I also liked the fact that the second leads weren’t too clingy or manipulative. (as they tend to be in romance dramas)

So if you’re looking for a lighthearted, easy-going drama, especially if you’re the kind of person who hates finishing short dramas, this should be on your watch list.

I liked this drama because I loved the chemistry between the two main leads. They were really cute and sweet together, and their love was so real and sweet and innocent!

If you want a light breezy series, this is it! Fantastic food shown will make you crave pasta!

There are a lot of flaws in this series, but the scenes between the two main leads are sooooo cute!

This drama is one of those I list as the A List drama. Great actors pulled of great job in acting, seriously! Seeing them acting, as if seeing yourself on the TV. It seems real for me, not actors act it, but some real phenomena in front of my eyes. As if they are tailing my story and act it out to the public view. Seriously, I could not help but to agree that this story has real realist elements in the drama.
I find it very relaxing watching the drama since the storyline is so new and so fresh and the actors pulled it off so nicely. The whole script, I should bow to the script writer, because I am amazed by how such a stern Chef can provide such stern sentences and so sharp and so strong yet still funny!
This drama is a Must Watch drama!!!

Cute and funny, one of my favourites. I started to watch because of Lee Sun Gyun but at the end I realized I liked the other characters even more than his! : D

drama started out good, the male lead is not much of a looker, but his side kicks are. the story line was witty and interesting, something new. the female lead played her role well. but by episode 9 or 10 or 11, i got sOo sick of the chef’s unnecessary shouting and rude behavior, i stopped watching. he made my heart race, i couldn’t stand him and it got me annoyed that the female role seemed like she didn’t have a back bone. perhaps i’ll pick up the drama again.

Started out good, got repetitive and slow. I don’t think the leading couple have very good chemistry I can’t really bare to watch this drama anymore and stopped around episode 9. Maybe I’ll pick it up again later, but probably not. If you’re looking for a good drama like My Name is Kim Sam Soon, this is not it.
