The Ultimate Baseball Team depicts an eclectic team of players who were kicked off of their respective team by their coaches. There is the former star pitcher who had his childhood girlfriend stolen from him by a bitter rival… Then there’s the short, pudgy pitcher who is addicted to games while the captain of the team, a former street gang member, is a one-armed player. Another pitcher on the team is a 41-year-old veteran who was relegated to the bench during his entire professional career.
The story interweaves a sad love story between a star pitcher and his sweetheart, who left him for another man, into the main plot about baseball.
Featuring Actor Yoon Tae-young, who starred in the MBC TV miniseries “The Story of the First King’s Four Gods,” in the leading role.
Featuring Actress Kim Min-jung of the MBC TV miniseries “New Heart.”

Extended overseas version consisting of 22 episodes. Fuji TV Two will air last episode on august 12. The show yesterday started airing from the beginning on the Fuji TV Next. Too bad no one’s ripping RAWs.
Hello! I love all of your subs, thank you so much! Before I start this drama, I just had a question – do you have any plans to sub the extended overseas broadcast version? (I think that would be changes to the last few episodes, + 4 new episodes). I wanted to know before I started it, because if you do have plans to do so, I’ll wait to watch it…I heard the chopped version was a little too rushed ^^;;

I thought that there was only 16 episodes to this drama? but it does need a couple of more because episode 16 left way to many questions unanswered.

it is november 09. i am in america and am up to episode 18 atleast and last night for the first time there are no english subtitles? unbelievable! where can i find these last episodes with english subs? how could they not bother to finish the last episodes without subs for an english audience?
the subtitle for episode 12 is not matching, is there anyway to fix that ?

Wow, the ending left a big plot hole, I’m pretty sure the 4 episodes left would’ve made this series complete…
I hope to see the 4 episodes that were cut, air overseas, and hopefully we can get it subbed.
They could’ve wrapped up a lot of things in the drama:
- Seobu going to the playoffs (maybe win it too ^^) as they won that game at the end.
- Ma Dong Tak, bringing in his own Outsider-type team.
- Oh Hye Sung, finding out the truth.
- Baek Doo San gets with Jenny ^^
- Ha Keuk Sang finding his mother ^^
A lot could’ve been concluded perfectly with the original 20 episode.
Well, it’s going to take some time for this to air in japan or something.
When it does, WITHS2 please sub it ^^

I was reading about this series being aired overseas, and it will air all 20 episodes, the way it was meant to be.
I’m pretty sure that the last episode is going to be jam packed, I’m currently on it, just wanted to research on the 4 episode cut.
After watching episode 15, it still seemed to have a lot of unsolved plots and was wondering how they can conclude with the next 1 hr episode…
Is it possible that the last 4 episodes that will air overseas is going to continue off of the 16th episode? and if so, would WITHS2 sub it?
I hope so, but I’m gonna see what this last ep is all about.
